Our client has retained our services to search for an outstanding candidate with a strong internet direct marketing background, including direct response, paid-listing advertising to consumers, to build, grow, and manage our client’s Search Engine Marketing (SEM) initiatives with PPC publishers (i.e. Yahoo!, Google, MSN) and networks (ad placement vendors).
Apply urgency, focus, and discipline, while working closely with the PPC and SEO Senior Marketing Manager, providing campaign analysis, bid updates, research on market trends, Keyword trend analysis and liaise with the Acquisition Marketing team. This will include developing and managing vendor accounts.
Responsibilities:
Develop new and eliminate underperforming PPC ad copy/keywords
Developing PPC advertisement display descriptions for listings & optimizing response ROI.
Utilization of proprietary and third-party analytics tools
Perpetual testing and optimizing of new keywords, position, ad text and landing pages
Establishing most effective landing page paths for PPC ads down to a keyword level
Analyze click and conversion data, ad expenses and ROI
Monitoring and reporting of competitor PPC campaigns
Achieve a targeted ROI for all ad spends on a daily basis
Ensure optimal campaign performance
Manage relationships with search engines and our advertising properties
Liaising and building relationships with PPC vendor partners
Setting-up Pay-per-Click (PPC) accounts in search engines
Carrying out Search Terms research & analysis
Researching market trends, responding to seasonal market fluctuations, and modifying bids accordingly
Qualifications:
• BA/BS in Marketing, Business, or related field and 2+ years in direct response marketing to consumers
• 1+ years work experience in a Search Engine Marketing capacity at an established Internet advertiser or an Online Ad Agency or Interactive Advertising Agency with a preference towards experience from a dot com or online subscription business model.
• Experience using Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
• Advanced and current knowledge of online marketing trends, analytics, and current events, particularly as they relate to search engine marketing
• Experience third-party campaign management tools (i.e. Atlas, Doubleclick, or any internet advertisement serving tools, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills and proficient writing skills
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and projects
• Proven ability to constantly improve ROI
