Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist

The SEO Specialist will support the team by performing both on-page SEO and linkbuilding.  The on-page optimization component of this position involves performing the following duties:

 

o  Keyword research.

o  Meta tag and content optimization.

o  Analysis of site architecture.

o  Analyzing server settings that effect SEO performance.

o  Communicating the value of SEO to clients.

o  Working with client webmasters to boost the search engine performance of their website.

o  Learning new skills and staying on top of the fast paced changes in the SEO field.

 

The position also involves marketing client website content to other websites.  The goal for these efforts is to persuade other websites and blogs to link to the client’s website.  This is accomplished by using the following tactics:

 

o  Researching websites that can aid in attracting backlinks.

o  Making phone calls and emailing other websites.

o  Buying backlinks from major directories.

o  Managing relationships with webmasters using a CRM package.

o  Tracking the effectiveness of the campaign.

o  Developing new and innovative strategies for increasing the web presence of our clients’ websites.
