Description: Manage the creation and maintenance of the design document and oversee development of the product to ensure that the goals delineated in design are achieved at the highest quality.

Responsibilities:

Create, maintain and communicate a clear design vision

Oversee preproduction process

Manage design team

Manage focus testing process

Assist Sales, Marketing and PR to create and give presentations for press and retail

Reliably support the Production team with any creative requirements.

Review builds and provides specific written feedback

Qualifications:

5+ years of senior game design experience, preferably on fighting or sports titles.

Credits on at least two AAA titles

Passionate motivator

Expert knowledge of hardware and software game industry trends

Great communication and presentation skills

Able to travel internationally

Able to professionally communicate, negotiate, debate game features with other members of the game production team including external members.

Strong desire to be a game designer not a novelist, movie director or anything else

Preferences:

Broad interest and vocabulary of video games, both past and present

Strong creative background

Artistic skills
