Senior Account Executive / Marketing Manager

EXCITING OPPORTUNITY IN HOUSTON, TEXAS!  American Risk Insurance Company (ARI) is looking to hire a Senior Account Executive / Marketing Manager immediately.  ARI is a property & casualty insurance company in the business of insuring homes and commercial property.We are looking to hire a qualified applicant to manage our marketing team and lead our agent and consumer marketing programs.  ARI sells its products through appointed independent insurance agencies in Texas who in turn market ARI to consumers.  However, we indulge in consumer marketing efforts to create awareness of the company.

Account Executives market directly to agents only, bring them on board, train them on our products and software and then service them from then on.  The Senior Account Executive manages this team and is also required to create agent/consumer marketing plans, goals and budgets to be approved by management, and then implement them.  This can include everything from creating weekly press releases, designing mailers (postcards, etc.), finding and ordering marketing gifts to creating TV and radio ad campaigns.  The hired applicant will be a department head and report directly to executive management.  You will be assigned a territory in Texas and traveling to this area 1-2 times per month to visit new and existing agents will be expected (Company will cover travel costs).All applicants must have at least 5 years of experience within a property and casualty insurance environment and be well spoken, written, punctual, artistic, and most of all, creative!  You must also be computer savvy and work well with MS Office programs such as Word, Excel and Power Point.  We need someone who thinks outside the box and understands how consumers think as well as knowledge of property and casualty insurance products.  Very important: Applicants MUST have an active property & casualty insurance license in the State of Texas.We are located in the Galleia Area of Houston and our hours of operation are 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday.  Attire is professional all week except for casual fridays.Compensation will be competitive including a base salary plus commission.  We offer health insurance and vacation benefits and a 401k plan.  Sick and Personal days are also provided.  Performance reviews are conducted at 90 days and annually thereafter.If you think you have what it takes, we encourage you to apply today.  We are a young and innovative company and are looking to hire someone who can really make an impact on this company's future.
