This is a permanent position within the company, but it will initially start out on a contract-top-hire basis. The length of the contract phase is undetermined and salary is open. DescriptionThe Online Marketing Manager will support existing and new online marketing initiatives; manage creative and strategic projects; initiate and execute first-rate site design and development; and act as the key producer for their site. This role will regularly engage with business partners and vendors to help develop and drive global brand identity, education and marketing, and business development initiatives.Primary ResponsibilitiesThis position will be responsible for daily web site management, including but not limited to: - Act as first point of contact for support and issue resolution. - Perform online marketing functions to ensure successful product launches and enhancements. - Provide design and writing support to enhance user experience. - Manage small and medium-sized web projects with internal and external partners. - Execute content approval process with business, legal and other internal clients. - Collaborate with data and IT partners to ensure the highest level of information accuracy and consistency. - Develop, deploy, and test content for web sites in various formats such as HTML, PDFs, and PowerPoint files. - Perform QA testing as needed on projects, including service enhancements, direct marketing, and promotions.Qualifications The ideal candidate MUST HAVE the following qualities: - 5+ years of online marketing experience. - Web production, design, and writing experience in a large corporate or online agency environment. - 2+ years of project management experience. - Highly responsive with a strong dedication to client service. - Exceptional attention to detail and very organized. - Ability to prioritize and multitask across several projects with competing deadlines. - Team player able to proactively communicate with business and technical partners. - Familiarity with search engine optimization and usage reporting.Preferred: - Knowledge of data processes - Solid verbal and written communication skills. - Proficiency in HTML. - Practical knowledge of a content publishing software. - Practical knowledge of Photoshop. - BA/BS in a field related to marketing or business a plus About Aquent Aquent is the world's largest marketing staffing firm.
