Senior Corporate Communications Manager

The Corporations of the President and the Presiding Bishop of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints support the Church and its missions. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a world-wide religion with over 13 million members.We are seeking an experienced communications professional to be a Senior Corporate Communications Manager responsible for corporate and product communications for the Church’s IT department (ICS). This position will create, maintain, and enforce ICS’ communications strategy, standards, process, and policy for all ICS communications targeted to Church departments, Church leaders, Church members, and the public.  RESPONSIBILITIES This manager has these primary responsibilities:· Ensuring all ICS communications are professional and effective· Set customer communication strategy, process, policy, and standards· Create, maintain, and enforce a consistent look and feel for all ICS communication materials· Lead the production of communication materials such as flyers, presentations, HTML email · Proofread and approve all ICS communications· Lead CIO communication efforts with Church CIO and CIO office· Lead ICS product communication efforts to ICS customers· Lead internal communications targeted to the ICS department (employee surveys, CIO messages, etc)· Serve as a communications consultant to ICS leadership· Train ICS leadership to produce effective communications· Drive initiatives to improve ICS’ ability to target communications to the right customers· Develop a deep understanding of how the Church’s worldwide organization functions to improve ICS’ ability to communicate more effectively· Maintain and ensure accuracy of ICS web pages on Church Intranet · 8+ years or more experience in corporate communications and/or public relations within a larger corporate environment· Experience creating communication campaigns· Experience creating written communications or copywriting· Experience creating communication materials such as flyers, presentations, HTML email· A history of leadership roles in work, home, or other setting· Must be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, currently worthy to hold a temple recommend
