Location San Francisco, CAStatus Full Time, EmployeeJob Category Creative/Design Job Description Senior Designer, Project Manager - Brand Development, Macy's Corporate Offices, San Francisco Overview of Position: Design and produce compelling Brand Development projects. Support the Creative Director, New Media and Brand Development, incommunicating corporate direction to the Macy’s West Sales Promotion department, as well as adapting this corporate direction fordivisional/regional usage. Key Accountabilities: Communication: • Maintain consistent communication with Macy’s Corporate Marketing (MCM) and other divisions; includes attending MCM creative conference calls• Review MCM assets with Creative Director to determine relevance to MCW needs; adapt/edit materials (both design and copy)as necessary;• Notify Sales Promotion department of MCM information/materials in a timely manner• Consult with creative directors and design directors on ongoing campaign development to enhance consistency of brandmessage across all media• Coordinate with Prepress, MSN, Visual and other departments outside Sales Promotion on use of campaign elements.Creativity:• Develop high-level conceptual ideas which are brand-right and evolve the brand.• Colllaborate with MCW copy/art/design directors as well as design/art leads (including creative directors) in other divisions• Design options and creative executions to support seasonal campaigns, with emphasis on fashion and cosmetics.• Complete Brand Development assignments from both MCW creative director and MCM including campaign prototypes,style guides, vendor guidelines and presentation materials.Skills Summary: • 5+ years graphic design experience• Superior Macintosh-based skills in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.• General working knowledge of Filemaker Pro, Acrobat Pro, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel• Superior communication and project management skills Macy’s is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment
