Senior Interactive Art Director

Our client is a major advertising firm and they are looking for an outstanding Interactive Art Director to develop and deploy Interactive and Flash related solutions (web interfaces, rich media banners, microsites, etc.) You will have a keen sense of design, color and typography. Types of projects include websites, email blasts and flash animations that support advertiser programs as well as internal marketing, advertising and sales materials.



We are looking for someone able to design sites that work across multiple browsers, on both Mac and PC platforms.  Our ideal candidate will be eager to share, teach and inspire.

 

Responsibilities:

 Work closely with Creative and Account Service teams to translate business needs and define user experiences into intuitive, creative and engaging interactive designs Create cutting-edge interfaces, rich media and online advertising for web sites and other interactive mediums. Clearly articulate thinking behind creative solutions, and communicate successfully with other team members Juggle multiple projects with a positive attitude. Be passionate about interactive, advertising, and creative.



Requirements:

 

· 5 years of experience developing, directing and managing creative ideas and creative with 2-4 years of Flash Development

· Strong portfolio with proven work experience and a demonstrated understanding of traditional and interactive design

· Expert knowledge of Flash including ActionScript 2.0, XML, code-based animation and video/sound integration

· Strong knowledge of web production tools (HTML, Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks, PhotoShop and Illustrator)

· Proficiency with current and emerging web technologies such as server setups, video integration and compression, XML, Java, Ajax
