Vertive is seeking passionate, results-oriented individuals to create, measure, improve, and grow pay-per-click (PPC) ad campaigns across multiple search engines. The position is focused on adding value by optimizing campaigns and maximizing profitability. These tasks require excellent analytical skills, marketing savvy, Excel skills and knowledge of the Internet.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESKeyword Research Keyword research using WordTracker, Yahoo, Google, and internal tools Create and refine keyword lists to drive qualified visitors to client and partner sitesPay Per Click (PPC) Advertising - Build Campaigns Create PPC plans based on keyword research and team-determined goals for new campaigns across multiple websites and categories Develop and expand new paid search campaigns with a focus on profitability Analyze data to optimize what is working, identify opportunities, and test new concepts Perform detailed reports focused on sales, profitability, and ROI Updates ad copy, bid positions, landing page content, and PPC campaign structure as needed based on campaign goalsCampaign Analysis and Management Upload ads as needed to various pay per click (PPC) search engines Monitor initial ads and results to ensure keywords achieve target position and CPCs Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising campaigns Expand campaigns and increase their effectiveness by analyzing keyword metrics Provide recommendations for improvements and updates to websites based on sales and conversion trends. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Business, Advertising, Communications, Economics, Mathematics or an MBA Candidates should have 3-5+ years experience in online marketing or similar Search engine marketing, campaign management and/or pay-per-click advertising experience strongly preferred Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet Knowledge and experience with HTML and Excel Macros strongly preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment An eagerness to meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlinesCOMPENSATION & BENEFITSCompetitive compensation and benefits commensurate with experience.
