Senior Internet/Web Developers-JAVA, PHP or C#/.NET gurus needed

Search America, LLC is premiere executive search firm specializing in placing professionals with internet and online media companies throughout the US and the Caribbean.  Currently we are searching for Senior Internet/Web Developers for several of our growing clients.  Our Clients are all established but still growing companies and are poised to at least double in the next few years.  They are looking for senior technical professionals that can lead them in the right direction.

 

Summary:

Responsible for performing a variety of complex technical work in the development, preparation, and testing of computer programs by performing the following duties.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

 

Designs complex programs and specifications.


Performs lifecycle maintenance.


Monitors and enforces coding standards and acts effectively as a team leader in these regards.


Resolves complex programming difficulties.


Prepares programs requiring a wide variety and extensive number of internal processing actions.


Develops analysis and design of systems and/or programs.


Produces, tests, and documents program code.


Analyzes source and content of data.


Assists others with debugging when necessary.

 

Provides leadership and direction in the development of short and long range plans.


Collects, interprets, and prepares data for studies, reports and recommendations.


Coordinates activities with other departments, as needed.


Furnishes professional advice to management and department heads.


Makes presentations to committees, task forces, and others, as needed.


Prepares charts, tables, and logic diagrams needed in problem analysis.


Forms complete description of all specifications required; additionally, develops common operations which can be reused; develops analysis and design of systems and/or programs.


Examines, reviews, and/or changes programs to adapt to changes in requirements or equipment configuration.


Participates in company or departmental planning sessions.


When requested, contributes to other department workload deadlines.


Provides backup support for related positions as needed.


May serve as a member or leader of various employee project teams.


Creates custom applications, builds table frames and forms, and writes scripts within the browser pages are functional across different browser types.


Uses experience with a variety of network technologies to lead internal and external clients with Internet-, intranet-, or extranet-based applications, including multimedia applications, database interactions and data modeling tools.



Researches, tracks and understands new web technologies to provide technical leadership in developing service applications and analyzing business requirements as they pertain to intranet and external Internet-related systems.


Builds applications using Internet and Windows Development tools.


Provides written design documents, test plans and test results.


Manages, develops, integrates and implements related applications components, including front-end development, server-side development and database integration.


Plays a direct role in programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of the applications.


Establishes and communicates standards to manage cost and ensure continuity of applications.


May work with outside vendors in developing tests to ensure feature functionality.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

 

Expert knowledge of JAVA, C#, .net or PHP

 

Experience in a high volume transaction environment

 

Strong knowledge and understanding of IP protocols


Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical perception


Highly skilled with Internet, email, spreadsheets, and databases

 

Experience with Internet marketing and/or email marketing will be a plus

 

Proven superior ability to learn how to effectively use new software/hardware tools

 

Good verbal and written communication skills

 

Team-oriented

 

Team lead or supervisory experience

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from four-year college or university is preferred; and/or 3+ yrs minimum related experience.
