Senior/Lead Interactive Web Designer

Synergy Point is looking for an outstanding senior level web designer to help us keep up with demand for our award winning web design services. We have grown a very satisfied customer base since 1998 and are currently undergoing tremendous growth.

Synergy Point is centrally located between Asheville NC, Charlotte NC, and Greenville/Spartanburg SC and is only a few hours from Atlanta Ga and the South Carolina Coast. Salary and benefits are negotiable and will depend on experience level and qualifications.

Synergy Point is currently looking for a senior level web designer and art director for a permanent full time position in Tryon NC. This position will report directly to the president.



Requirements

Qualifications & Qualities:

B.F.A. preferred Agency experience preferred 3+ years experience in web design Professional portfolio of work on regional and/or national brands Service oriented Creative Must enjoy a collaborative working environment
Responsibilities include:

Work with creative briefs to produce multiple creative concepts that meet the stated strategy Ensuring the consistency and quality of design and production work Web site, CSS, and graphics design Managing and directing production staff
Skills Requirements:

Web design, usability, functionality, information architecture, typography and color Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Able to estimate project time requirements and able to stick within defined time constraints Ability to optimize graphics for web Expertise in 100% CSS based web layout, HTML, DHTML, XHTML
Additional Desired Skills:

Experience with Flash and/or video editing Print design experience
To be considered for this position you will need to provide some examples of your work including samples of CSS/HTML. In addition you may be required to complete a CSS/HTML skills test.
