You are a medical writer who is looking to step into a more senior role. You’ve worked within communications agencies for a while and have an in depth understanding of the creative and content-focused environment in which we work.
You know how ad agencies create great content and understand the need for proactive thinking and planning. You know how to handle the day-to-day activities that satisfy project needs as well as the creative thinking that drives client business. Now you want to play a larger part in content planning, development and decision making and want to take on a bigger role within the department.

Overview
This role is critical to content planning and development and is critical to the success of the agency in that it has great impact on client satisfaction, quality, schedule, cost and profit.
We’re looking for the right, senior medical writer to develop monographs, slide kits, sales rep materials, and other medical communications.
In this role, you’d develop and write high-quality, evidence-based educational or promotional vehicles such as clinical monographs, slide kits, poster presentations, teleconferences, Web casts, Web sites, and video scripts. You’d interact with key clinicians to develop program content and you would attend advisory meetings and medical conferences.
Requirements
Requires strong scientific background, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Advanced science degree is required while PhD, PharmD or MD is preferred.
Previous pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or agency experience is a plus, but not essential.
Experience with one or more of these categories is very desirable

The ability to travel required.
