The Senior Project Manager II is an integral team member responsible for managing the execution of complex projects and or large accounts.  Strong leadership skills are required to bring the project to successful completion with an eye toward effective timeline, budget, and scope management while delivering high impact work.  The Senior Project Manager II must fully understand the goals and objectives of the projects they are assigned, develop the implementation plan, and communicate it effectively to their team.  This includes but is not limited to timelines, budgets and scope adherence.  In addition, the SPM II demonstrates some of the skills of a Program Manager, including ability to train and coach other PMs, and the ability to create reusable processes and templates.  The SPM II responsibilities include:Effectively manages projects to ensure timelines, budgets, scope management and client expectations are met for some of the most complex projects in the company.Consistently demonstrates core Project Management skills in facilitation, communication, attention to detail, negotiation, technical skills, effective leadership skills, great interpersonal skills.Work with Account Manager and/or Senior Account Executive to not only deliver on time and on budget but within scope of the assigned project and coach other project managers to do the same. Work with account team to develop a solid Statement of Work and then work closely with account team to manage, document and deliver against subsequent changes in scope.Effectively use imc²’s Enterprise Project Management (EPM) system, and imc² processes to consistently develop and manage project plans for clients, including developing SOWs, budgets, scope definition, assumptions, requirements and scope management, work breakdown structures and schedules and train others to do the same.Utilize project management philosophy, knowledge and experience to guide and help Project Managers accomplish the Project Management activities for their assigned projects, and perform at increased efficiency and effectiveness. Champion all company processes and initiatives, including advocating and executing them, as well as assisting in ongoing process improvement. Report and communicate project status effectively (includes issues reporting and escalating appropriately).Works independently on projects with little task-oriented supervision from assigned Program Manager.Able to define, manage and mitigate risks on complex interactive projects for standard imc2 offerings and those which deviate from imc2 standard project/service offerings. Build partnership relationships with other department team members and create a win-win environment.Consistently delivers excellent customer service, both internally and externally, and confidently interacts with clients.Take the lead on assigned projects.  This may include the meeting agendas, meeting scheduling, status reports, project logs and partnering with the Account Lead and Contracts Administrator to ensure all legal and financial documentation is in place.Contributes to the preparation of business development proposals and portrays imc²'s project management expertise. Communicates imc²'s point-of-view on project management methods and processes. Creates and delivers compelling presentations to existing and potential clients.Help with new hire orientation and provide training for newly hired Project Managers to get them up to speed quickly on imc2’s processes and project management methodologies.Actively pursue increased knowledge within the Project Management discipline.  Specifically, learn common project management methodologies, best practices, and processes.Qualifications 4 year college degree in Management Information Systems (preferred), Marketing, or related focusMinimum 5 years hands-on project management experience in an agency, corporate or related setting with specific vertical experience preferred.1-2 years of interactive marketing experience (website, database, email, online media).Demonstrates effective planning, organization, and time management skills and analysis/assessment capabilities.Ability to train and coach other Project Managers.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Able to make appropriate decisions when confronted with obstacles.
