ABOUT THE ROLE
Centro, the most comprehensive provider of local interactive media and technology services, is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a Senior Regional Account Executive in our New York office. This senior level role will be responsible for building and managing ongoing client relationships, while working with the Client Service, Operations and Publisher Relations teams to develop and execute campaigns.Simultaneously, a solid team member and sales leader, you are passionate about online local advertising and consistently demonstrate your commitment to a "Raving Fans" level of customer service.  Presenting solutions with value and meaning for your clients and your team, you have a strong work ethic, superb follow through, and an internal passion for making solid contributions to the success of your clients, team and colleagues.  Above all, you are a consummate professional whose focus on long term relationships and client success maximize your excellent presence and results in the world of online, local advertising. 


CORE RESPONSIBILITIESManage a sales territory to service local digital media campaigns on behalf of national interactive agencies across local online publishers. Identify agencies’ local online advertising needs and work with Client Services team to propose efficient solutions. Present the value of local online audiences to interactive clients. Exceed established revenue goals, including specific regional accounts as assigned by management. Establish strong relationships with advertising agency personnel, including all decision-makers and key influencers from junior media planners to top management. Work with Account Manager(s) to present supporting research for media strategies and publisher recommendations. Respond to campaign reporting results and recommend optimizations in conjunction with Account Managers. Advise Account Managers on client requests regarding research data, publisher rates, and inventory. Interact with local publishing partners to secure ad inventories and specialized ad products. Interface with Client Services team on all campaigns. Become a positive and influential presence in your region. Travel up to 33%.

Work Experience: 3+ years interactive account management and/or online media sales Strong knowledge of regional and agency client base Excellent presentation skills Strong organizational, business writing and negotiation skills Proven ability to multi-task and drive revenue from multiple accounts Desire to build lasting client and vendor relationships Experience taking ownership of a project and seeing it through to completion

Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook). Familiarity with ComScore, Nielsen/NetRatings, @Plan.  Media Audit a plus Use of sales / CRM software (e.g. Salesforce.com, etc.)

Education: Bachelors Degree or higher
