This combination of community and advertising value has made ITtoolbox a leading destination for professionals and a leader in online advertising, performing for over 800 clients including Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Dell, and HP. Sr Regional Account ManagerSignificant market need for online advertising space has prompted us to double our sales force in 2008!  The incumbent for this newly created role will take immediate ownership of a virtually untapped Chicago or Pennsylvannia regional territory.  By developing existing clients and identifying new business opportunities, you will not only meet or exceed aggressive sales goals but you will also have unlimited personal financial potential.  Through a consultative sales approach you will identify decision makers, assess areas of need, and evaluated spending levels.  During the implementation phase, you will review and set reasonable expectations with clients, minimizing poor results.  In addition to partnering with clients, you will also have the opportunity to work closely with the sales management team on account development strategies aimed primarily at increasing revenue through account penetration and calculated upselling.  At a predetermined time, you will also have complete oversight and accountability for the performance and development of a small sales team.  Required Professional Attributes:  o  Verifiable track record of recent success achieving aggressive sales goals in a high performing sales environmento  At least (3) years of consultative sales experience with a strong preference for online advertising or technical saleso  Recent success consulting with decision makers while offering a value based solution to strategic issueso  Ability to manage a prospect pipeline while upselling/cross selling to existing accountso  Capacity to operate with minimal supervision while making business decisions that favorably impact revenue goals o  Demonstrated success managing, motivating and mentoring a sales staff.o  High level of integrity, with good work habits and a strong work ethico  Willingness to travel within an assigned regional territoryo  Bachelor’s degree  Preferred Professional Attributes:o  Exposure to advertising agencies and Information Technology vendors o  Experience operating effectively with minimal supervision is highly recommendedo  Expertise with the strategic development of an under-performing or untapped territoryo  Aptitude with building, managing and developing a sales staffITtoolbox is a wholly owned subsidiary ofCorporate Executive BoardThe Corporate Executive Board is a leading provider of best practices research, executive education seminars, customized research briefs, and decision support tools to the world’s largest and most prestigious corporations.
