Senior Sales Account Executive

American Classifieds, a leading print and online shopper publication, is interviewing for a seasoned Senior Sales Account Executives in its Dallas, Texas office. In this position you'll leverage your creativity in partnering with customers to create custom print and online marketing solutions. Success in this role could set you up to pursue a variety of career paths in our organization or throughout our parent company, American Classifieds LLC, the nation's largest privately held shopper publication group.

You will be successful in this position if:You have a high performance background in sales, whether you have one year of experience or five. You have passion, high energy and thrive in a fast-paced environment in which change is a constant. You learn quickly, have solid follow through skills, pay attention to detail, and a have customer service approach to interacting with both clients and internal contacts. You have a media background, particularly with print and Internet products.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

American Classifieds is currently seeking experienced Senior Sales Account Executives for its expanding Dallas office. We are looking for sales professionals who are client-focused and results-driven to generate new clients. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

 Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with existing and new clients and agencies Building and maintaining advertising revenue through creative and strategic selling Creating sales presentations

 

QUALIFICATIONS:2-5 years advertising sales experience at a newspaper, magazine, radio or television Proven track record of closing new business and maintaining current accounts Exceptional written/verbal communication skills BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred Must be team-oriented, extremely motivated and able to work independently Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation abilities Strong organizational skills, ability to set priorities and meet deadlines Entrepreneurial spirit Extremely polished Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment
