Senior Sales Professional

Hobbs/Herder Advertising Marketing is currently looking for an experienced, consultative sales professional to bring in new business.


A qualified candidate is someone who:

  * Has 5+ years of B2B solutions sales experience - preferably selling to marketing executives
  * Is not afraid to make multiple introductory sales calls on a daily basis
  * Has great listening skills and the ability to understand where we can provide value to the prospect
  * Has strong verbal and written communication skills – sales letters and proposals
  * Is familiar with the California high-tech business community
  * Is motivated by a highly-leveraged, uncapped sales compensation plan
  * Has exceptional presentation skills
  * Is well-organized and can effectively manage a sales pipeline
  * Understands the benefits of effective pre-call planning
  * Is comfortable using Act! (or similar contact management system), PowerPoint and Word
  * Has a background or education in marketing

We offer a generous sales compensation plan that includes a small base salary plus a percentage of sales with residual income for the length of employment. We also provide a health insurance plan after 90 days and 401k participation after 1 year.

This position is based in our Newport Beach, CA office.
