Senior WEB Designer

Position Overview:

Senior-level professional web designer possessing a genuine interest in and passion for interactive design with a strong understanding of online marketing. Reports to Web Manager.

 

Duties:Design creative media for all magazine websites as well as external clientsDesign professional web sites w/ SEO and user interactivity in mindBuild creatives for online advertising including various banners and other rich mediaAnalyze and design effective email marketing creativesInteract with clients and marketing managers to gather project requirementsTake a project from concept to finalized design and provide the developers with well-organized design codesStay current with web design trends and be ready to apply them when neededBe creative and introduce new ideas and concepts to projectsPerform other duties as assigned or requested, follow company policies

 



Required Qualifications:

4+ years of full-time professional web design w/ impressive online portfolio Genuine interest & passion for web/graphic designExpert knowledge of HTML, XHTML, and CSSExpert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and ImageReady on PCWorking knowledge & skills in FlashStrong knowledge of user interface designStrong knowledge of SEO a plusRelevant degree, training, or coursework preferredOnline marketing experience a plusHigh level of attention to detail is necessaryAble to clearly document all projects efficiently Basic understanding of multi-media publishing company (including print), and the integration of communications and branding Experience working in a team environment to complete projects based on customer specifications Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of users and support staff
