YOU: We are looking for a thinker with a hard-core appetite for finding elegant, cutting-edge solutions to difficult problems.  Someone who is at home in dark climates, who digs AJAX and table-less design but who is language agnostic and can just as easily jump in and dissect a need and craft a scalable solution.  An old school, get it done web developer who doesn’t need reams of documentation to get the idea and who can ultimately contribute to a gasp-worthy user experience. You live to prototype and are fueled by the question “what if…”  You contributed to the bubble and survived its burst because you are able to adapt.  You recognize potential and you not the type to shoot down ideas.  This is a senior level position.  Dreamweaver-types need not apply.

 

US: We are a global ad agency with a small, but growing interactive group with an amazing opportunity to define our future and carve out our place within a traditional think tank.

 

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5-7 years experience in web development

· Mastery of (or the ability to adapt and learn quickly):

· CSS

· Knowledge of cross-browser issues and how they affect design.

· XHTML, including knowledge of what it takes to build a fully W3C-compliant site.

· AJAX

· PHP, MySQL, Python, Ruby… what ever it takes to make it happen.  If you don’t know it, you’ll learn it.

· Strong willingness to communicate…

· Strong visual design skills and the ability to push design through technology.

· Ability to work in a team environment or alone

· You lead and mentor others

· Self-driven and highly motivated.
