We are currently seeking a Software Developer II for the South Norwalk, CT office. The Software Developer position is responsible for software system and services engineering, designing software applications and system services, designing database solutions and guiding projects through to implementation. Employee is also responsible for producing and maintaining design documentation and effectively communicating design specifications to team members.
ResponsibilitiesReviewing business requirements documentation and developing an understanding of business needs.Design scalable and reliable Software Systems and Services to meet the needs of the business users.Produce Software Systems and Services design documentation.Perform Database Design functions utilizing industry accepted best practices.Develop Application Development Standards and review team members work product to ensure that standards are being met.Provide support to team members in implementing Systems and Services.Provide Training to team members on the use of Systems and Services.Miscellaneous projects and/or responsibilities as assigned.
QualificationsMiddle Tier Design and DevelopmentSQL Server DevelopmentObject Oriented Design and ImplementationDatabase Design and Normalization and Stored Procedure, Trigger, View and Function DevelopmentProduction Web ServicesExperience with Web Application Development, Production ASP.NET Applications, Java and JSP Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to review business requirements and produce detailed design documentsAbility and desire to work in a team environment
