The Sony AOR Account Executive will work in a dedicated media environment to provide a higher level of client service to Sony Corporate and the individual divisions.  Create, promote and execute cross divisional opportunities across multiple medium platforms to increase added value opportunities for a consolidated client.  Ensure communication between the two UM offices and the various disciplines working on the Sony AOR.

Responsibilities: Identify synergies across divisions and/or media

 -  Promote cross-divisional media opportunities across multiple medium platforms

-  Identify areas where the target audience or media objectives for multiple divisions intersect

-  Cross examine the media plans and use the correlation between timing and opportunity to integrate ideas and advertising strategies

-  Identify added value opportunities and extend participation to encompass other appropriate divisions

-  Calendar out major events/holidays and determine where the money is being spent, who is spending it, and how Sony Corporate can be involved/help

-  Leverage the entertainment content with hardware



 Responsible for AOR status in collaboration with the disciplines

  -  Need to be aware, track and foster client relationship and activity on a daily basis

-  Must understand client behavior as a consolidated group while recognizing and accommodating the different needs/wants of each division

-  Identify opportunities for internal departments to better service the client

-  Access and focus all of Universal McCann resources on behalf of Sony and its divisions

-  Leverage common tools and processes

-  Communicate with appropriate internal members of any opportunities or corporate requests

-  Facilitate internal meetings to keep all team members abreast of client activity, current news and projects

 

Qualifications:

-  Ability to proactively work in an independent, unstructured and constantly evolving environment

-  Adheres to deadlines and sensitivity of information

- Effective and concise communication skills with ability to work across multiple organizational functions

-  Attention to detail with excellent project management, process and organizational skills to multi-task, prioritize multiple projects and activities independent

 

Requirements:

-  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

-  2-4 Years in related cross-divisional, account, and or media work
