This position is ideal for someone who has an FP&A and accounting background, but is looking to move into a more strategic position. The successful candidate will be self motivated and take the initiative to ad value where possible.Reporting to the Finance Manager - Business Development, this is a highly visible position requiring strong analytical and financial skills with responsibility for performing detailed financial and business analysis and planning covering a wide variety of initiatives across the Studio Group; new revenue opportunities, strategic plans, major capital investments, cost reduction initiatives, systems development and integration, performance management systems, etc. Responsibilities also include preparation of justification and presentation materials to gain approval and support for recommended courses of action, requiring strong written and verbal communication skills.Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:* Analyzes new business development opportunities, develop financial pro-forma models and perform valuation analysis* Assists in the formation of long-range plans and develop financial models* Assists in the development and measurement of annual budget and business planning process * Creates, analyzes, and distributes financial statements and reports on a regular basis* Prepares and delivers written and oral presentations* Participates in cross-functional teams to evaluate potential revenue and or cost reduction opportunities; This includes forming close partnerships with internal departments* Works with operations management, assists with the development, analysis and recommendation of capital budgets and project plans* Participates in due diligence and integration efforts* Participates in a variety of projects that may involve complex issues or strategic priorities* Prepares special projects, ad hoc reporting and analysis as required* Supports Manager in implementing process change* Ad hoc reportingQualifications:Basic qualifications:* BA/BS required, MBA or equivalent work experience is favorable, but not required * Minimum 5 of years of related work experience* Proficient in MS Office - Power Point, Word, Visio, OutlookDesired skills:* Candidate must be proficient in Advanced Excel skills* Highly organized and high level of attention to detail* Strong communication skills* Ability to multi-task and prioritizeEligibility requirements:* Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered * Must be willing to submit to a background investigation* Must be able to show eligibility to work in the United StatesParamount Pictures is an Equal Opportunity EmployerSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Hollywood, CAJob Number: 5179Company URL: http://www.paramount.com/careers
