Sr. Flash Developer

 

Northlich is seeking a Senior Flash Developer who is an open-minded problem solver with excellent attention to detail, a willingness to learn and a drive to create cutting edge web experiences that help raise our clients’ brands to new levels. You should be comfortable coding in several languages both server and client-side.

 

The Senior Flash Developer will work with the Engagement and Ideation Teams to translate our client’s unique vision to the online world. The Senior Flash Developer reports to the Chief Technology Officer and works with developers, flash designers, interactive art directors, brand designers, production artists, strategists, and information architects.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

·  Candidate will be primarily responsible for developing web projects based on established creative vision.

·  Accurately provide technical time estimates to project managers

·  Assist in determining overall interactive design structure, flow and user experience

·  Advise and recommend to the Creative Director in design direction as well as provide solutions for design projects.

·  Lead and mentor other members of the technology team

·  Interface with other departments in the development and execution of the web design process.



Minimum Work Experience Preferred:

·  2-5 years experience developing Flash content

·  Ability to review and categorize information, analyze problems and provide solutions

·  Expert Flash Knowledge

·  Expert Digital Imagery Knowledge

·  ActionScript 3

·  Flex 3

·  Standards compliant XHTML, CSS & JavaScript

·  Basic database design

·  XML

·  Experience with server-side coding such as ASP.NET, PHP, or Java

·  Experience with AJAX a plus

 

Education:Bachelors degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university and 3-5 years experience working in a hands-on IT management position Or, at least 5 years experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified above.
