Leads and directs complex internal and external cross-functional, cross-geographic teams and vendors. Provides direction for and training of MarComms Specialists and/or Assistants, plus department leadership in the absence of the MarComms Manager or Director. RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL Under general direction, plans, conducts, and supervises marketing communications projects with significant magnitude and scope to impact the company?s sales revenue and overall product acceptance by new and/or existing markets. Ensures programs are delivered on time and within budget. Manages annual spending of $500,000 - $1,500,000. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Project planning, budgeting and management of major cross-functional, cross-industry and cross-geographic campaigns with annual spending between $500k - $1.5 million. Leadership: The Senior MarComms Specialist oversees the work of complex, internal and external project teams and vendors in corporate and remote locations. Also provides backup leadership for projects led by the MarComms Manager or Director. Identifies, analyzes and reports on program metrics in order to evaluate the program's success. Presents weekly progress reports to Zebra management on open issues and projects. Makes ongoing recommendations to improve program results. Works with Zebra marketing management to prioritize the various rollouts/campaigns requested based on the needs of the organization and potential ROI. Provides single point of contact on all campaign-related activities for internal stakeholders and executives. Significant contact throughout the organization including industry marketing, product management and product marketing, alliance, channel, sales and more. Provides the "eyes and ears" of the internal stakeholder on all MarComms projects. Determines responsibilities of the vendors and internal resources assigned to the campaign(s) depending on the program objectives, timeline and budget. Ensures adherence to Zebra brand and messaging standards through the utilization of the department?s strategic and tactical planning documents, creative work briefs, project tracking, and other documents and reports. Responsible for communication and problem resolution with vendors and the campaign teams on a regional and/or global level. Trains new MarComms Specialists and/or Assistants and provides ongoing guidance and assistance. Identifies potential process improvements where applicable. Aids in identifying communications and marketing opportunities for assigned products or in assigned industries. Travels up to 25% including some international. Other Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS BA/BS in Business, Communications or related field. 6 years hands-on experience implementing integrated marketing communications campaigns across geographies for technical or business products, in various vertical markets and sales channels. Formal training and/or equivalent, referenceable experience in project management with budget responsibilities >$500,000. Start to finish implementation of one or more campaigns with measurable results. Demonstrated success in deploying a wide range of MarComms tactics with proven ability to monitor programs and provide alternate recommendations proactively to improve results. Experienced in addressing the different marketing communications requirements of multiple geographies, multiple sales channels, and multiple markets. Min. 3 years experience in leading and working with cross-functional teams. Highly organized with outstanding verbal and written skills.
