This is a contract-to-hire opportunity! Responsibilities Include: Working with the Retail Segment Management leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the development of product and marketing programs targeted to affluent, older (60+) consumers.Analyze market segment needs.Analyzing and understanding the competitive marketing place.Developing programs, products, and initiatives to acquire, deepen and retain profitable relationships with this market segment.Develop presentations to senior management about this segment.Coordinate activities to support branch sales, including sales support material, brochures, and sales scripts.Provide project management expertise from project oversight and coordination, to management of large inter-division projects by developing and administering the project plan, to serving as a key player in representing Retail Segment Management on other bank projects.Coordinate product development and management activities with Bank departments, Bank affiliates and outside vendors to promote and deliver quality products to the marketplace.Ensure compliance with auditing procedures and legal requirements.Coordinate the research effort to support market segments.Analyze and evaluate new concepts and develop marketing strategies to determine feasibility and market potential.Review requests from management to modify and/or change strategies, design or procedures of existing programs.Oversee event coordination on a local and state-wide level.Requirements Include: 7+ years direct experience as a Consumer Segmented Marketing Manager specifically in the development, implementation and tracking of successful and significant marketing initiatives.Experience and/or education related to affluent, older consumers (retired segment).Advanced analytical skills. Ability to work with customer and market data on Excel spreadsheets and create analyses, graphs, and charts.Experience working with market research information and competitive data.Exposure to all areas of marketing product development, product management, direct response marketing, advertising etc.Strong ability to create compelling business cases to support new marketing programs.Ability to work enterprise wide especially with line management (strong interpersonal skills).Leadership qualities.Strong MS Office computer skills--particularly working with Excel and creating professional Powerpoint presentations.
