You will be responsible for developing and supporting MicroStrategy reporting solutions across Paramount Pictures. MicroStrategy is a new solution for Paramount Pictures and we are looking for a strong candidate to help make the implementation successful. You should have strong experience in MicroStrategy Development (SDK, Portal, Web, Desktop, Narrowcast, NC Subscriptions, WebPro), MicroStrategy Server Administration, Business Needs Analysis, and the implementation of MicroStrategy Dashboards, Scorecards and Reporting. MicroStrategy Developer Certification preferred.Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:* Researches and gathers materials and information for status reports covering all aspects of Marketing, including web sites, traffic analysis, publicity, promotion, and media * Analyzes data and produces weekly report to increase understanding of consumer behavior and website functionality* Reviews vendor proposals and makes recommendation for selection * Supervises activities of outside agencies* Manages and supervises two Marketing Administrators and one Manager* Participates in theatrical website creation and strategy with production team* Provides and submits weekly Creative Ad Report to Senior Management* Assists preparation of budgets and administration for own projectsQualifications:Basic qualifications:* Minimum of eight years of IT experience implementing mid to large scale solutions* Minimum of three years of experience in Microstrategy report development* Minimum of three years of experience in Microstrategy ad-hoc query development* Minimum of three years of experience in translating business requirements into reporting solutions* Candidate must be proficient in data warehousing design concepts and techniques, data modeling, database design and design/development experience Desired skills:* Experience in report publishing, automated report generation and document security (Narrowcast) in a Production Environment* Experience in reporting dashboard frameworks * Ability to understand business reporting requests and ad-hoc requests* Experience with Informatica 7/8 is preferred* Experience with Cognos Reportnet 1.1 is a plus* Experience in Supply Chain is a plus* Experience with Sybase IQ and Teradata is a plusEligibility requirements:* Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered* Must be willing to submit to a background investigation* Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United StatesParamount Pictures is an Equal Opportunity EmployerSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Hollywood, CAJob Number: 5246Company URL: http://www.paramount.com/careers
