Staff Writer / Associate Project Director

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Manhattan office of strategic communications and market research firm seeks an associate project director/staff writer with 2-3 years of writing experience.

Our clients come to us to help them communicate about a wide range of controversial and complex issues. They come to us to help them articulate their brand message. And they come to us to change the way the public talks about an issue. We are looking for candidates who like to use the written word to engage and persuade on a wide variety of issues.

Responsibilities: The Associate Project Director is involved in every phase of our strategic communications projects. Various tasks include speech writing, survey drafting, analyzing data, writing analyses and making strategic recommendations. Associate Project Directors also have organizational and logistical responsibilities for project elements including qualitative and quantitative research projects.

Requirements: We are looking for ambitious, creative individuals with strong analytical skills and demonstrable persuasive writing ability and experience. We seek team players who learn quickly and can handle the tight deadlines that come with client-service work. The ability to multitask is very important. In addition, the position requires a willingness to travel as well as strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
