Alloy Media + Marketing services over 1500 companies including half of the Fortune 200. We are looking to hire a Staffing Specialist for our AMP Agency group in Boston, MA.
AMP Agency is the marketing/advertising/promotional agency of Alloy Media + Marketing, an Alloy, Inc. Company. As part of Alloy Media + Marketing, AMP Agency delivers custom solutions for consumer brands targeting youth, young adult and multicultural lifestyles. AMP Agency was named 2004 Agency of the Year by PROMO Magazine, a recognition considered to be the Gold Standard among promotional industry professionals.
The Staffing Specialist will play a critical role as part of The Staffing Authority (TSA) team, which provides staffing solutions for the innovative marketing programs developed and executed by AMP Agency and other Alloy Media + Marketing teams. This position will be responsible for day-to-day recruiting and staffing activities for our innovative Field Marketing programs.
AMP Agency seeks candidates that are passionate, energetic, collaborative, solution-oriented and consistently demonstrates a strong sense of professional integrity and accountability.
Core ResponsibilitiesEffectively recruit talent to represent our programs and our clients with a focus on Field Marketing positions;Generate offer letters and present new hire paperwork;Partner with Account Teams to understand staffing needs for our programs and to manage hired talent in the respective markets/locations;Ability to recruit for multiple Field Marketing positions at a time using various sourcing methods;Author, edit and post job postings, in addition to administering the TSA recruiting account(s);Conduct reference/employment checks;Conduct driving, drug and/or criminal background checks, when necessary, to ensure that candidates meet all requirements prior to employment; Assist with Employment Relations matters between account teams and TSA employees;Maintain TSA Training presentation, schedule and conduct TSA training to new Alloy employees to ensure they understand both TSA and their role for Field Marketing programs;Assist Account Teams with drafting Program Manuals and communications to ensure compliance with recruiting and HR best practices and regulations;Maintain relationships and necessary paperwork with third party agencies;Perform related duties assigned by Human Resources Manager;Research and execute on other projects, and perform other duties, as assigned.
Job RequirementsBS/BA degree in Human Resources or Marketing, or a related field;1 – 3 years previous recruitment experience, preferably in an temporary agency or other high volume recruitment environment is strongly preferred;Experience developing and maintaining recruitment contacts and relationships with candidates;Demonstrated knowledge of effective interviewing techniques, including cold calling, and the legalities surrounding the recruiting process;Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships at all levels of an organization;Excellent follow up and time management skills;Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment;Ability to handle confidential information in an appropriate manner regarding recruiting and staffing situations;Demonstrates initiative – thinks beyond requests made and is proactive in developing and sharing new ideas;Excellent written and verbal communication skills;Strong client service and relationship building skills, with a focus on meeting or exceeding expected results;Ability to work independently in a team structure.
