State Ad Sales Manager

Job Objective:

Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities for the Statewide Outside Sales force of the Alliance Program

Including but not limited to:Recruiting, hiring, training, developing and maintaining personnel.  Conducting regular coaching and counseling with Account Executives to build motivation and selling skills and to reach aggressive sales goals Directing a sales team and providing leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Responsible for managing and maintaining communication between sales personnel and operations personnel. Responsible for daily sales tracking for all Account Executives

 

QualificationsStrong record of prior outside sales management experience to lead and direct a team of outside salespeople (5+ years) Background in media advertising sales is highly desirable. A track record of recruiting, hiring, training and mentoring successful sales professionals Proven success in developing new business and managing a territory and selling activities. Strong communication, organizational and follow-up skills Excellent presentation skills before both small and large groups. Solid management skills in a fast-paced, dynamic and expanding company Must be self motivated and have a stable background Demonstrated intermediate skills with the standard features of various personal computer word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, and proprietary software).

 

RequirementsIntegrated sales (print, online, etc.) management experience. Strategic and tactical selling experience. Client focused consultative selling skills with the ability to close a sale. Effective written, verbal and presentation skills. Valid driver’s license.
