State Coordinator

Full Time State Coordinator -NPOMissouri Education Reform OrganizationPosition DescriptionArticulate clearly the mission of the organization to all publics, includingmembers of government, business, the media, and civic groups.Responsible for achieving fundraising target by approaching trusts,corporations, statutory bodies, major donors, individuals and other sources,and by running events.Work with individuals, communities, businesses and charitable trusts to raiseawareness of the organization’s work, aims and goals.Develop and implement quarterly plans for outreach to business and civicleaders in priority cities and legislative districts.

Coordinate coalition buildingefforts throughout the state.Develop, update and distribute communication tools: website, collateralmaterials, direct mail program, newsletter, web-based communications, etc.Coordinate logistical details and agendas for conferences and meetings.Communicate with allies and partners on a regular basis.Register as lobbyist with State of Missouri and regularly visit with electedofficials, providing education reform information and working to pass criticaleducation reform legislation.Salary is commensurate with experience.
