Come help us meet the demand and be part of one of the advertising industry's fastest growing segments!Position Summary: Responsible for managing the tax accounting, tax reporting and compliance, tax planning. Oversees the completion of accurate tax returns in order to meet the tax obligations of the organization. Manages the tax accounting staff and typically reports to top management. Develop budgets, determine resource requirements to ensure/complete accurate tax compliance, and direct/monitor tax engagements. Responsibilities:' Prepare and review quarterly and year end tax provisions with special emphasis on compliance with accounting for income tax rules and guidelines (FAS 109, FIN 48) ' Keep current on accounting for income tax pronouncements and update relevant members of the Finance department' Oversee and review federal, state and local income tax returns for multiple states' Oversee/manage preparation of estimated federal, state and local tax payments' Manage federal and state and local tax audits' Identify and research federal and state and local tax issues ' Assist with federal, state and local tax planning (including sales and property tax)' Calculate tax basis and tax implications of proposed transactions ' Oversee calculation of earnings and profits, assist management with dividend planning' Manage tax implications of mergers and acquisitions' Contact, communicate and maintain relationships with tax consultants Qualifications: ' Bachelor's degree in related field. ' CPA, EA or JD or other related experience or professional certification relevant to the area of tax specialization. ' Minimum of 6-8 years of corporate tax experience including consolidation' Excellent interpersonal and communication skills' Energetic, forward-thinking, dedicated and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image. ' General knowledge of tax laws with specialized knowledge in 1 or more technical tax areas. ' Advanced knowledge of an automated tax processing systems, Microsoft Excel, Word, Access. ' Excellent supervisory, analytical, leadership, written, organizational and verbal communication skills. ' Commitment to learning in a tax technology environment.AA/EOE
