Tech Lead - Exciting Interactive Ad Agency

  Technology Lead (ASP.NET) This self-motivated, professional member of the technology team is responsible for leadership as a subject-matter-expert in software design, standards, support and systems architecture of technology solutions. The organization operates in a loose matrix fashion in which personnel are assigned to a variety of project teams. The Technology Manager will have dual roles of people management and project leadership. Key Responsibilities:Translates the client's business requirements into systems design. Challenges business design when appropriate. Offers creative alternatives regarding business design. Provides mentoring on best practices and processes Supervise, direct and guide a team of software developers. Challenge the team to develop innovative workflows and technologies to increase speed, reliability and quality of production while reducing cost where possible. Actively works with the account team to establish strategy for the account. Promotes the value of project processes and establishes these processes on a new project. Educates and ensures that team follows processes. Defines and assesses completeness of work. Ensures projects are completed on time and according to organizational quality standards. Ensure team members acquire necessary skills and performance attributes, in line with business and personal development needs. Set a positive example and lead by demonstrating a strong work ethic.  Core competencies:Extensive experience (prefer 7+ years) and proficiency in solution development, deployment and support Has proven experience in Proofs of Concept, Solution performance engineering Has strong problem solving skills and the ability and desire to learn new technologies rapidly Knowledge of emerging technologies and products Work in deadline driven environment, and respond creatively to pressure Has the interpersonal skills to lead other team members and facilitate innovative thinking to solve technology issues Excellent oral and written communication skills, customer service skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing, collaborative team environment.  Technology Requirements:Expert knowledge of: C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, .NET Framework, XML and XSL Expert knowledge of: Web Services, .NET Remoting, nUnit and Source Control Competent knowledge of: Microsoft SQL Server(TSQL), Oracle, and DB2 Working knowledge of Service-based Architecture patterns and supporting technologies such WSDL, SOAP and UDDI Competent knowledge of HTML, CSS, DHTML and JavaScript Experience in working with IIS, Visual Studio .NET Experience in working with J2EE applications, JSP and Java is a definite plus
