Technology Public Relations Agency Account Executive

Wall Street Communications, a marketing communications agency focused on component and professional products in the electronic media space, is seeking an account executive to join our team in a Denver area home office setting or in the agency’s headquarters in Salt Lake City. We’re looking for candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in technology marketing communications or PR, preferably within a corporate setting. Entry-level candidates with superior academic credentials are also welcome to apply. Experience working with manufacturers of semiconductor, audio, broadcast, video, or cable head-end solutions is a plus. The ability to quickly grasp the significance and applications of high technology products is a must.The account executive’s duties include regular interface with clients, researching editorial calendars and pitching stories to the professional trade and prosumer press, identifying and managing speaking opportunities, assigning writing projects to the agency’s writing staff, and managing the review process with clients and client customers. The ability to keep track of multiple projects, set priorities, and thrive within an extraordinarily fast-paced environment is essential. Candidates interested in a home office position must demonstrate a proven ability to work proactively with minimal supervision, to learn by long distance, and to solve basic IT problems on their own.
