TRADESHOW/EXHIBIT MANAGER

 

An innovative, award-winning communications agency, fulfilling the marketing needs of major international pharmaceutical companies, is seeking a Tradeshow/Exhibit Manager for its Plainsboro, New Jersey office.  With offices in the US and Europe, our success lies in the creative design and project management of exhibits, meetings and multimedia. The successful candidate will have at least 2 – 3 years pharmaceutical tradeshow experience.

 

The Exhibit Tradeshow Manager will ensure the efficiency, consistency and overall timeliness of all tradeshow and events projects and activities. The individual in this role will support these efforts by using strong organizational skills, computer expertise, project management, problem-solving ability, and creativity to meet expected deadlines. The Exhibit Tradeshow Manager utilizes an integrated marketing approach with all tradeshow marketing tactics including coordinating with promotions, advertising and other events outside of tradeshows.

 

Responsibilities Include: Coordinate tradeshow and event activities, including show services, creation of media for show presentation, shipping of tradeshow booth, graphics, supplies, etc., and tracking expenses. On-site management of select high priority showsAlign resources to support events including booth and related items, promotional items, marketing collateral, press kits, staffing, etc.Manage relationships with internal customers, serve as key interface with other team members, and external clients (vendors) maximizing productivity and delivering high quality conventions/tradeshows. Must be able to work with vendors to establish deliverables and timelines and ensure budgetary guidelines and quality standards are met. Manage crisis situations effectively. Demonstrate ability to learn and adapt to changing procedures, methods or processes and assist in teaching team. Oversee continuous communication between clients, vendors, and team members to meet client needs. Must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently to meet deadlines.Develop and nurture good relationships with clients and outsider suppliers to enhance service, manage expectations, and respond to client feedback in a timely and efficient manner. Other duties as assigned.

 

Professional Experience Requirements:Bachelors degree Minimum 2 years experience in convention/tradeshow industry or event/meeting planning PC experience with Windows operating system and a variety of software programs (Microsoft Office, and/or exhibit software) Ability to work as team member and independently to best serve client Ability to travel 25% and work overtimeMust have excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
