VP - Group Account Director - Interactive Advertising
The Group Account Director (GAD) will be responsible for leading the assigned Client Account teams and will ultimately be responsible for managing the Client Relationship at multiple levels throughout the organization, across departments, multiple brands and agencies. The GAD must have an ongoing knowledge of a Client’s business (including competitors/ pipeline drugs, media mix, spending etc.), and assist Client in the development of innovative interactive and eRM programs. GAD’s will be responsible for developing account plans for every client, writing strategic documents, POV’s/ white papers, the development of adherence/ C&P / partnership programs, championing breakthrough creative, overseeing segmentation and targeted messaging, technical execution and establishing the appropriate metrics for every program component and reporting on those results The GAD will ensure that our best thinking and work is always delivered. They will be responsible for mentoring and nurturing their staff so they develop into outstanding professionals; champion quality work; embrace a positive can-do attitude, lead by example and contribute at the highest level with an eye toward long term growth and agency success. The Group Account Director (GAD) is responsible for the following key areas: Manage and take responsibility for the Client relationship throughout the life cycle of all eMarketing, eRM and Internet based activities Partner with agency resources to ensure that both S&H Digital and client requirements and deliverables are developed, communicated and fulfilled on time, within budget and profitably Lead strategic initiatives along with internal and external strategy resources Brief others on client plans and results and ensure that the Account teams initiate projects properly (complete required strategic, creative and analytics briefs for all Client initiatives, etc.) Organically and proactively grow new business on current clients and be aggressive about seeking out these growth opportunities Assist and participate in new business initiatives undertaken by the agency, coordinating resources Address individual Client needs from a Strategic perspective, allowing the day-to-day tactical handling of the account to the Account/ Project Managers Manage and direct the activities of the Account Executives who are direct reports Ensure that all initiatives approved by Clients are properly implemented using approved Agency systems and processes Upon request keep the Managing Director, Dir. of Project Management, and CFO aware of client budgets, billing, project status, staff utilization and Client profitability Participate in the hiring, training, development, mentoring and retention of staff members Attend and participate in client meetings, off-site’s and presentations, as needed Interact with Sudler & Hennessey agency personnel in other departments, including Sudler’s President, Managing Partners and CFOCONTACT US: Please email resume to: aaron.schott@sudler.com Reference Account Director in the subject line.
