VP, Search Engine Marketing

This multi-channel expertise expands TRANZACT’s addressable market, as channel effectiveness varies across verticals, and is a key differentiator in a competitive landscape populated with channel-specific marketing services providers.  The VP of Search Engine Marketing will lead SEM customer acquisition efforts for Paid Search and contextual campaigns across multiple client brands and product lines. Additionally, this individual will lead Search Engine Optimization efforts in support of select content and commerce sites. This is an opportunity to build, grow and manage a new function at a leading interactive marketing company that spends millions in online media each month.Responsibilities:Build the Search capability – including strategy, organization, process and tools Develop marketing plans and own P&L for the Search channel’s profit and volume targets Manage relationships with search engines, partners and vendors Work with the marketing and online media teams to develop new strategies and tactics to optimize the Search channel Play key role in the hiring of a Search Marketing team Supervise and mentor the Search Marketing team Requirements:5+ years of search marketing experience 3+ years of management experience Knowledge of the Search landscape – listing providers, tracking tools, bid-management systems and keyword development tools Proficient with Google Adwords and Yahoo Search Marketing Experience managing marketing budgets and ROI optimization Proactive and strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills Power Excel user Compensation & Benefits Include:Full medical, dental & 401k plan with a matching program
