VP of Research - Interactive Marketing

Due to growth in our client base, Questus is currently seeking new talent to add to the Questus team.
Responsibilities:
• Manages several projects from design to delivery for several clients at varying stages of completion to meet/exceed client expectations
• Works with operation counterparts to anticipate and troubleshoot issues related to a project and to continuously identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Proactively works with cross-functional team members to anticipate unusual client needs and ensures all have common understanding and commitment/alignment to meet unusual demands; as appropriate, shares and gathers client information with/from client service colleagues with same client to ensure seamless execution and communication to client.
• Consults with client on design of project to identify the non-obvious business issues and background informational needs (i.e. competitive marketplace information; spend; execution; relevant promotional and new product activity that may influence consumer response)
• Diplomatically responds to difficult or unusual client issues and is able to professionally influence the appropriate internal resources to necessary outcome or knows when to elevates issue, if necessary.
• Creates in-depth analytic conclusions and recommendations from data results that considers client needs and business issues as well as previous ad research learnings and general industry knowledge that generates insights beyond the numbers.
• Tracks contract timelines and proactively manages renewal process (as needed).
• Utilizes understanding of all ASI advertising research tools and the client business needs to identify/ potential new business opportunities and discussing insights/ strategy with manager.
• Effectively manages and mentors direct reports to develop client understanding, project management skills, the purpose beyond the task and basic analytic conclusions beyond the numbers.
• Ensures completion of final presentation and close to final analytical conclusions and recommendations for manager’s review.
• Provide regular team leadership and constructive feedback on all accounts
• Develop, monitor and modify the business unit creative department staffing strategies and plans, including: Team composition, Team performance, skills, training and mentoring
• Develop, implement and monitor quality standards across all creative department artifacts and deliverables
• Continually improve Creative Department methods, problem solving models and best practices
• Proactively manage the success of production scope, schedules and budgets
• Support and lead human resource initiatives with a focus on performance management & recruitment
• Understand, embrace, and communicate corporate mission and values
Qualifications:
• Degree in Marketing
• MBA in Marketing preferred
• 4+ years of marketing experience agency or corporate
• Interest or experience in technology as an industry
• Ability to deliver research findings, recommendations, and give a powerful presentation
• Relationship development skills
• Critical thinking and creativity
• Detail oriented
• Curiosity minded and entrepreneurial
