Valuation Actuary

Valuation Actuary opening in New York. Interact with and manage staff of 6 in all aspects of Statutory, GAAP and Tax reserves as well as actuarial modeling including cash flow testing, economic value, economic capital and RBC; financial planning and analysis. Develop and maintain Statutory, GAAP and Tax reserves as well as other actuarial liabilities; attest to appropriate Statutory, GAAP, and Tax Reserve levels on a quarterly basis; research proposed valuation methods and regulations to determine, in advance of their becoming official, what their impact will be; conduct cash flow testing to ensure asset adequacy to support liabilities and developing economic value added, economic capital and risk based capital models; assist with financial planning, projections of operating gain and financial analysis.
