The DC office of GolinHarris is looking for a Vice President to lead and drive the strategic communications efforts for our consumer public relations practice.

The Vice President is responsible for managing top-tier client relationships. This includes serving as a strategic counselor, recommending programs and activities that coordinate with client's goals and budgets.

The Vice President is accountable for delivering contracted work on time and within budget, supervising senior account staff, and producing high-quality work and excellent results, while ensuring team members produce the same.

The Vice President is also responsible for soliciting, developing, securing and maintaining business for the practice and the office.

Requirements:
Qualified candidates must have at least 8+ years experience in consumer public relations. National agency experience is required and it is essential that candidates have managed teams, budgets, and national consumer public relations accounts.

The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in branding and marketing, as well as have a proven track record in conceptualizing and managing the implementation of successful national media campaigns.

Demonstrated expertise in program development/plan writing and strong experience generating new business are essential. Experience in crisis communications and managing large consumer clients and programs are a plus.
