Vice President - Leveraged and Acquisition Finance

Vice President - Leveraged and Acquisition Finance opening in New York City. Responsibilities: The Vice President of Leveraged & Acquisition Finance is responsible for the review and analysis of transactions offered in the U.S. leveraged finance market. The new VP will handle the marketing of new transactions in the primary and/or secondary markets to financial institutions partners including, but not limited to, private equity companies, banks, etc. Responsibilities will also include reviewing and recommending new credit applications, reviewing and recommending waiver and amendment requests and related documentation in coordination with risk management, structuring potential bilateral transactions and related Club Deals to sell participations to other financial institutions, participating in bank meetings, conferences, and negotiations in connection with proposed new and existing leveraged finance transactions, and monitoring the leveraged finance portfolio. Compliance responsibilities will be coordinated with risk management and will include: monitoring of financial covenants, the receipt of financial statements, compliance certificates, and other compliance items required according to legal. The ideal new hire will have 7 to 10 years Leveraged and Acquisition finance experience. Superior transaction structuring skills for bilateral transactions, sound judgment and experience regarding U.S. leveraged finance transaction analysis and related documentation, and strong analytical and legal documentation skills are essential. This new Vice President leveraged finance must be a proactive team player with strong marketing, communication and interpersonal skills. German language capabilities will be a plus but are not essential. Salary up to $ 160k + bonus.
