WEB DESIGNER FULLTIME 2-3 YRS EXP.

Our client is an agency that is the primary subsidiary of a global advertising network that has the best-in-class marketing communications companies.
They are looking for a cutting edge, innovative web designer with 2-3 yrs experience fulltime for their internal website (both staff & client sites). This is a PC environment and this person will not be working on a MAC.

MUST HAVE HIGH TRAFFIC NAME BRAND WEBSITE EXPERIENCE!

They must have a disciplined work ethic with an easy going personality. Be able to fly solo or collaborate with others and be part of a team effort.

Core skills:
Photoshop Expertise
-Working with complex PSDs
-Cutting images for site themes/HTML

Illustrator Expertise
-Working with EPS, and AI formats
-Exporting and importing various file formats

HTML
-Complex Tables
-Browser/Platform Compatibility
-Fixed width sites VS Stretch to fill sites
-Must be able to Hand Code (No WYSISYG ** you need to be able to look through pages of complicated and often ugly code)

CSS
-Firm understanding of CSS (we control 99% of our skins through CSS)
-Browser/Platform Compatibility (IE vs. Opera/Windows vs. Mac)

General
-Proven Design Capability
-Capacity to work under high pressure and tight deadlines
-Proficiency in working in the MS Windows environment (Designer does not work on MAC )


Additional Skills:
Flash Expertise
-ActionScript (Both Modify and Create)
-Knowledge of Internet Streaming
-Animation/Banner design
-External XML control of SWFs
