Wadsworth Chamber of Commerce CEO

The Wadsworth Chamber of Commerce is seeking a vibrant, energetic individual to serve as Chief Executive Officer.  The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering the membership of the organization and providing business advocacy, economic development and professional service to members.  This person will be responsible for managing all aspect of the day to day activities of the staff and volunteer committees while executing the directions of the Board of Directors in achieving the goals and objectives of the Chamber. 

Eligible candidates must be able to attend all Chamber functions, and committee meetings, develop, promote and maintain fundraising events and obtain sponsors for key events.  As CEO of the Wadsworth Chamber you will be required to serve on local boards as approved or requested by the Executive Board, attend city council meetings as needed, maintain relationships with members and work to promote and develop membership.  You will also be responsible for working directly with the Executive Board by monitoring and advising its members of potential problems, preparing monthly agendas and reports as well as reviewing financial statements.

This a challenging and rewarding career opportunity that will allow you to help grow, promote and develop our city.  Salary range is $35,000 - $42,000 depending on experience with the opportunity for incentive bonuses.
