1st Shift Cell Leader Engine Line

This is a supervisor role in a key aerospace overhaul and repair facility. Responsibilities for this position include the supervision of a team of hourly employees who are responsible for the disassembly and assembly of Engines. The Cell Leader is responsible for ACE (continuous improvement) and EH&S and Employee Fulfillment throughout the cell. Front line communication on the daily direction to achieve turn times, meet customer needs, improve safety environment and overall culture is key.

Bachelors degree in a technical field and A&P license is preferred.

Experience / Qualifications: Candidate must be a self-starter and possess experience supervising hourly associates and an have the ability to work with all levels of the management team. Must have practical experience in depot level maintenance regarding jet engine maintenance, overhaul and assembly. Familiarity with Aftermarket Quality Processes, knowledge of FAA Regulatory requirements and ability to interpret accepted technical data (AD's, CIR, EM's, Service Bulletins, MAN's, AOW's, etc...) strongly preferred.
Superior communication skills, strong results orientation and demonstrated ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.


In addition, the candidate must have strong leadership, analytical skills, multi-tasking skills and work in a fast paced environment; working knowledge of Continuous Improvement principles (i.e. lean manufacturing, ACE, QCPC, etc), EH&S principles, SAP experience and PC Microsoft products a plus.
