6006 Financial Business Analyst II

EDUCATION: Candidates considered qualified for this position must have;

A Bachelor's Degree in a Business related field such as Accounting, Finance, Business Management or Budgeting with four (4) years experience, or;

An Associates Degree in a Business related field such as Accounting, Finance, Business Management or Budgeting and six (6) years experience.

EXPERIENCE: Candidates considered qualified for this position must;

• Have experience providing budgeting or financial support to DoD
programs for a minimum of either four (4) years (with a
Bachelor's Degree) or six (6)years (with an Associates Degree).
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of various Government financial
and contracting concepts, practices and procedures.
• At least three (3) years of work experience must be in support
of Department f Defense (DoD) efforts, including no less than
four (4) of the following activities:
• Performing cost analysis
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Financial planning and forecasting
• Budget analysis and execution
• Formulating financial programs and budgets
• Expenditure tracking
• Creating and analyzing monthly,quarterly and yearly reports
• Compiling and analyzing financial Information
• Developing Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance-Based Work
(PWS’s) or Statements of Objectives (SOOs)
• Earned Value Management (EVM)

Qualified candidates must also have one (1) year experience with at least one(1) of the following and demonstrate and understanding of at least one (1) other of the following;
• Government Financial Management
• Government Acquisition Management
• Government Contracts Management


Special Requirements: Candidates considered qualified or this position must;

• Have a current Secret security clearance
• Meet Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Level I certification
requirements in any of the following areas;
• Business
• Cost Estimating and Financial Management
• Contracting
• Acquisition
