Required Skills: Bachelors in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or similar discipline with 3 - 8 years direct experience. Ability to work in a team environment and interact with engineers and business personnel supporting projects and proposals. Demonstrated experience in inventory, operations, and/or supply chain management and strong customer support skills.   General knowledge of engineering/material resource planning, the engineering design process, and aerospace hardware.   Strong interest in engineering and business processes, information systems, and space flight hardware. Proficient in verbal and written communication. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills. Demonstrated accomplishment of tasks requiring significant customer and supplier interaction, reporting and coordination. Proficient in verbal and written communication, and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. Desired Skills: Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or similar discipline along with demonstrated experience in managing material inventory within a multi-project and product build environment.   Experience with processes relating to science and engineering development activities, inventory operations, material/engineering resource planning, supply chain management processes, and/or hardware inventory management systems including Oracle. Demonstrated accomplishment in the improvement of business processes that significantly improved cost, schedule, and/or technical performance. Demonstrated accomplishment in the coordination of tasks that involve multiple customers with potentially different requirements. Must have a strong desire to develop and implement new processes in delivering inventory and information to JPL projects and customers.

Will: Provide support to the Technical Inventory Management (TIM) Group reporting to the TIM Group Supervisor.   Will work as part of the Process Improvement and IT team to plan and implement process improvement initiatives such as cycle counting, economic order quantities, blanket purchase agreements, min-max planning, IT process improvements, point of sale scanning, and will identify infrastructure required to support these initiatives in the Flight Hardware Logistics Program (FHLP).   Will work with the TIM inventory leads to support inventory operations activities including acquiring, receiving, distributing, and transacting material as well as solving daily problems to meet customer needs.   Will develop process flows including inventory interactions with acquisition, quality, and manufacturing processes to develop an integrated efficient supply chain within the FHLP at JPL.
