Join our team as a Manufacturing Analyst working in an integrated product team environment.

Operations is seeking a talented, dedicated and self-motivated Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Leader to guide the implementation of ACE methodologies (Lean/VSM and technical problem solving) in a manufacturing support environment. This assignment is located at our PWR, Canoga Park campus, DeSoto facility. This position is ideal for someone with demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement activities through the utilization of ACE tools and processes. Responsibilities include the following:
- develop and execute ACE strategy supporting achievement of ACE gold goals;
- project management of key milestones;
- lead events such as VSM, 3P and Kaizen workshops;
- develop and deploy ACE assessment plans (includes cell assessment package reviews and coordination of ACE certification assessments);
- exercise leadership through training coordination, coaching and communication of best practices;
- support standard work development efforts;
- provide training on key ACE elements and tools;
- facilitate goal setting, coordinating timelines, budget/staffing requirements, sharing best practices and celebrating successes;
- facilitation of ACE meetings and auditing of activity progress; and
- motivate and mentor others and lead by example through active participation.



Minimum requirement is a Bachelor's degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering or a technical field with a minimum of 8 years of directly related job experience. MA/MS degree is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years leadership experience in a continuous improvement/lean role (ACE operating system) with a proven track record in planning and leading events/workshops, project management, team building/facilitation and event coordination. This includes the following attributes/skills:
- have demonstrated ability to lead and coach multi-discipline project teams and plan schedules to achieve goals (facilitation, project management);
- have demonstrated knowledge of lean tools, ACE, Six Sigma methodology and other quality improvement processes preferred;
- be a self-starter with strong communication skills (written, verbal, public speaking), and ability to empower and mentor others to succeed throughout all levels of the organization;
- be familiar with dynamics of culture change;
- have demonstrated ability to gather, modify and deliver training to all levels of an organization;
- exercise team building skills with a strong commitment to customer service;
- have solid presentation and reporting skills in a variety of environments; and
- be proficient at MS desktop applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
