DESCRIPTION: 
The individual selected for this position will provide support to the Government for the development and support to the RFP process supporting numerous program acquisitions.  The contractor will work with Data Links program office.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:  The Acquisition Support Specialist will support the Government and the process from document development through the Acquisition Strategy Panel (ASP) to source selection to contract award for numerous programs.  Expertise is required to develop the components of the RFP, support the Government for determination of the acquisition strategy, assist in the development of the various sections of the model contract, aid in the various steps leading to release of the RFP (including RFIs and draft RFPs), support all requirements for an ASP, support source selection, and assist the Government after contract award for the programs.  The individual will form the nucleus of an acquisition support team supporting numerous other 653 ELSG KN (GIG) programs.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Required:  Extensive knowledge of the RFP process, contract development, and the Milestone A/B/C process to include support to numerous RFP development efforts within the past five (5) years
• Required:  With the resume, submit a list of RFPs the individual supported within the past five-years to include program name, Acquisition Category (ACAT), overall program dollar value for contract award, and where the program was in the acquisition cycle (i.e.: concept exploration, development, procurement, deployment, and/or sustainment)
• Required:  Bachelor’s Degree
• Required:  Full-time employment (1860 hours/year)
• Required:  Employment location – Hanscom AFB, MA

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS DESIRED:
• Desired:  Milestone B preparation experience
• Desired:  Advanced Degree
• Desired:  APDP Level III in Contracting and/or Program Management
• Desired:  Strong briefing/presentation skills
• Desired:  Knowledge of C4ISR systems to include tactical data links

DESIRED START DATE:  14 April 7, 2008
MINIMUM SECURITY CLEARANCE:  Secret
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS/REQUIREMENTS:  Minimal travel may be required
