As part of our continuing commitment to support NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) projects, we are currently seeking an experienced AVIONICS HARDWARE ENGINEER. This position will support requirements for the development and production of avionics hardware components required for a major space flight launch vehicle.

 

Principal Duties:

Support trade studies, generate requirements, and support evaluation of hardware designs in one or more of the following subsystems: Command and Data Handling (C&DH), Electrical Power Systems (EPS),Radio Frequency (RF) communications (S-Band).

 

Required Qualifications/Experience:BS degree in Engineering, Math, Physics or related field with a minimum of 4 to 10 years experience.Familiarity, experience, and a comprehensive understanding of avionics architectures for manned space flight systems is highly desired. Ability to take management and technical direction and work with other team members to implement assignments within required schedules is highly desired. Proven experience preserving Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) information.
