Honeywell products touch the lives of most people everyday, whether you’re flying on a plane, driving a car, heating or cooling a home, furnishing an apartment, taking medication for an illness or playing a sport.***The Account Team Leader will service accounts in the Western US and Latin South America.  The ideal candidate will reside in Southern California and perform duties from a home office***   Honeywell’s Aerospace has created a vast portfolio of technologies and capabilities that have significant potential in a variety of commercial and industrial sectors.  The Honeywell Aerospace Business Innovation Center is a new organization designed to take advantage of the cross-industry growth potential that those technologies offer by developing new businesses that build on core technologies.  The Business Innovation Center is a key driver in Honeywell’s Aerospace vision — “Transform the World with Aerospace Technologies and Innovative People”.  The Account Team Leader will: Be responsible for the growth of the Flight Support Services business in their assigned region  Specialize in services (GDC flight planning and Datalink services, Aeronautical Databases, OneLink, OneView & Jetmap) Include sales of flight support services and cabin information services agreements to new and existing customers in their annual sales plan Manage service accounts and act as primary POC for customers in assigned regionRoutinely visit designated customer locations Demonstrate thorough knowledge of customers and service usage within their assigned region Assure effective communication and complete coordination between Service Operations, customers, field service engineers, and regional sales managers Manage regional services functions and trade shows in coordination with other Honeywell resources Participate in relevant trade shows, sales meetings, operations meetings, and special events Present/demonstrate services at all levels, train customers on features and benefits, and provide customer support Provide service demonstrations and/or training at industry trade shows or related invitational events Fulfill customer support expectations, provide user feedback, and track changes in customer usage Hold responsibility for all phases of promotions and promotional relationships that will increase the visibility of Honeywell Flight Support ServicesBasic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree • 3-5 years sales experience in flight support services (such as Data Link communications, flight planning, international trip support and SAT-Comm services)• Travel required 25% of the time Additional Qualifications:A high energy self-starter with a bias for action Extensive sales/customer service/training experience, with an emphasis on follow-through Able to work in unstructured and unsupervised situations Ability to work well with others, handle stress, produce quality work under pressure situations Customer focused, attentive to customer needs, strive for excellence, provide value and results for the customer Ability to adapt to change Excellent verbal and written communications skills Developed time and resource management skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Thorough knowledge of cabin communication services  Knowledge of cockpit “Day of Operations” services which can include flight plan generation, filing and handling procedures, National Airspace / ATC procedures, tools etc Familiarity with Datalink and related avionics is also a plus. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we are committed to a diverse workforce
