To apply for this position visit: http://www.dyncorprecruiting.com/ext/detail.asp?dyn1994Job Summary:Provides general to complex financial, clerical and accounting services to assigend department within the company.Principle Accountabilities: Provides accounting, finance and clerical supportEstablishes and maintains department files in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)Follows established guidelines in performing routine day-today tasksScreens telephone calls, visitors and incoming correspondences for assigned departmentJob Responsibilities: Assists others with necessary financial systems access and processes to facilitate interaction with systems Maintains pending files for discrepancies and ensure timely follow-up to resolve problemsTypes off-cycle manual checksScreens vendor telephone callsReconciles bank accounts, post information and balances general or subsidiary ledgers, processes payments and compile segments of monthly closings, annual reports, etcCompiles reports, verifies information and distribute to appropriate SBAsMakes copies and prepares shipment packages for distributionKnowledge and Skills Type a minimum of 40 words per minute (WPM)Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft applications and data entryUnderstand general computer skills for accounting environmentExcellent communication and people skillsPeopleSoft knowledge preferredPhysical Requirements/Working Environment Works in normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditionsRequired SkillsExperience Guidelines Typically two (2) to five (5) years experience in an accounting or finance environmentEducation High School diploma or equivalent plus some formal training.
